She grew up with jewelry, scraps of silver and gold, precious and semi-precious stones all around her as her father was a talented amateur silversmith and cut stones as a hobby. Even though her father has now passed away, he continues to be a great source of inspiration to her.

"When designing a bead for the People's Bead Spiritual Collection, I sought inspiration from those beads I love.

I wanted a design that would embody the spiritual theme in a strong, structural bead that would make a bold statement on a bracelet. I also wanted something that would use an oxidised finish in sections to give the bead depth and character."
